Update on Introduction of MFA for DLS

The High Court of Australia will introduce multi‑factor authentication (MFA) for access to the Digital Lodgment System (DLS) Portal after close of business on Friday, 17 July 2026.

MFA will apply to all DLS Portal user accounts from Saturday, 18 July 2026 and will require users to complete an additional verification step when logging in. Supported authentication methods will include:

• an authentication application using a one-time passcode, 
• SMS to the associated mobile phone, or
• email.

The first time a user logs in after the introduction of MFA they will be required to select and set up a method of MFA.
