George Baldessin

The late George Joseph Victor Baldessin (1939–78) was a Melbourne-based artist and art teacher who is best known as a printmaker. He studied at the RMIT in Melbourne, at the Chelsea Art School in London and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. His first solo exhibition was in 1964. Baldessin died tragically at an early age in a car accident in 1978.
